Outpatient Services

Counseling Services of New York LLC is a non-intensive, OASAS 822 licensed outpatient substance abuse treatment program. We work in conjunction with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services, NADAP, Human Resources Administration, Department of Corrections, NYS Department of Parole and Probation, Treatment Court, Criminal Court, Family Court, Alternative to Incarceration, NYS Department of Motor Vehicles, Methadone Maintenance Treatment Programs, New York Health and Hospitals, and Self Referrals.

We provide quality care to all of our clientele, and we take the time to ensure that treatment is individualized.  We offer a host of comprehensive treatment services including:

  • Group Therapy
  • Bilingual Therapy
  • Anger Management
  • Domestic Violence Education & Counseling
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Smoking Cessation Groups
  • Psycho Educational Workshops
  • Parenting Skills Classes for ACS Cases with an AXIS I Diagnosis
  • Women’s Group
  • Psychiatric Evaluations and Coordination of Offsite Mental Health Services
  • Vocational Training Referrals (VESID. NON-VESID)
  • Job Placement Referrals (NADAP, CASH, EPRA etc.)
  • Educational Referrals (GED, ESL)
  • DWI/ DUI Screenings
  • DWI/ DUI Assessments
  • Drinker Driver Education
  • Free Sober Recreational Activities
  • Assistance with SSI/ SSD Eligibility
  • Assistance With Medicaid Eligibility
  • Housing Referrals
  • Referrals for Suboxone, Methadone, Detox, and Rehab

We accept Medicaid and some Public HMO’s. Self pay clients are accepted as well, and we offer affordable prices based on a sliding scale.

Counseling Services of New York LLC is open 7 DAYS A WEEK, 365 DAYS PER YEAR.  Walk-ins accepted daily, or call (718) 590-1790 to schedule an intake appointment.  We also accept referrals via fax at (718) 590-1791.

We are in the heart of the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium, which makes us very accessible by train or bus. TRANSPORTATION RE-IMBURSEMENT IS PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF METROCARDS FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY. HOURS OF OPERATION ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ARE 8AM-12PM.
